  • Reid Boulet | U of Toronto (2022-26)

Hi everyone, my name is Reid. I was born and raised in Grande Prairie, Alberta. I did my undergrad at the Grande Prairie Regional College, during which time I was also playing Junior hockey. I moved to Edmonton in 2017 for dental school at University of Alberta. I then decided I wanted to specialize in OMFS in my 3rd year of dental school. I started off after dental school by completing the University of Alberta General Practice Residency program, before applying to both Canadian and American OMFS programs. I was fortunate enough to be accepted into the OMFS program at the University of Toronto. I am excited to share my knowledge about OMFS as well as GPR programs across the country with anyone who is considering either route post dental school.

  • Matthew Faigan | McGill University (2021-27)

Hello there, thanks for checking out my profile. My name is Matt Faigan, current OMFS resident at McGill University. I was born in Kelowna, British Columbia and grew up in Montreal, Quebec. Outside of work, I am an avid snowboarder, tennis player, and rock climber. I completed my undergrad in Anatomy and Cell Biology at McGill University in 2016. I come from a family of dentists – my grandfather, father, and brother are all dentists. I proudly joined them in this outstanding profession having graduated from dental school at McGill University in 2020. I discovered my passion for OMFS and embarked on the one-year OMFS internship offered at McGill. My love for this exciting specialty was solidified and I am thrilled to be a current OMFS resident in the dual-degree McGill OMFS residency program. It would be an honor to share my experiences with the challenging yet rewarding path towards a career in OMFS. Don’t be shy, I look forward to all your questions and am excited to help!
